Dubai is literally one of the most instagrammable places I have visited so far.
If you have an Instagram account then I am pretty sure you have come across some of the ‘standard’ Dubai shots by now. I’m convinced Dubai was built with Instagram in mind because I honestly find new things to take photos of each day!
So following a previous post I did, 5 Different Ways to See Dubai (and get some awesome photos!) …Here are some of the ‘must have’ shots and most Instagrammed places in Dubai should you feel your feed is lacking some of these classic pics!
1) The Burj Khalifa
Lets start with one of the most Instagrammed buildings in the world, the Burj Khalifa! No trip to Dubai is complete without this classic shot, I mean it is the tallest building in the world after all!
The Burj Khalifa can be found next to the Dubai Mall and accessed from inside the mall.
2) At The Top
Coming in at a close second is the view from the top of the Burj Khalifa. I have to say this is pretty impressive (I go up each time I have visitors!) These photos get a lot of attention on my Instagram feed so it’s definitely worth a trip up to see for yourself.
You can book your tickets here: At the Top – Burj Khalifa
3) The Burj Al Arab
The Burj Al Arab is another iconic Dubai building. From the tallest building in the world to the worlds first 7 star hotel… Dubai has to have the best of everything!
Head to Jumeirah Public Beach or Kite Beach for those enviable photos of turquoise sea coupled with the Burj Al Arab …. Also these beaches are totally free so no excuses!
4) Souk Madinat Jumeirah
A must visit if you’re in Dubai and one of my personal favourites is the Madinat Jumeirah. This place just screams Instagram at every turn and is another great way to get a shot of the Burj Al Arab up close!
The souk is accessible to the public whilst being a part of a 5 star resort. It consists of stalls, restaurants and bars. The beautiful blue water ways have cute little abras passing through all times of the day so you are certain to get a well timed shot. This together with endless palm trees and picturesque restaurant settings you will be spamming your own Instagram feed for days!
1) Take a ride on an Abra for some fab shots of the waterways up close and the Burj Al Arab.
2) The best spot for a pic with the Burj Al Arab is outside Costa Coffee!… see below (You can thank me later!)
5) The Desert
A trip in to the desert is almost inevitable if you come to Dubai and I firmly believe everyone should do this once in their lifetime! Go on a desert safari and stop for some sunset shots, you wont regret it!
I like to use Arabian Nights Tours for my desert trips each time I have guests.
6) The Atlantis
The Atlantis! Yet another iconic building and a very pretty one at that! Take a trip on to the Palm Jumeirah to get some great shots.
7) The Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk
Whilst youre on the palm you should definitely take a walk on the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk. It is an 11km walkway along the outer crescent of the Palm, and it has only just opened! Here you can get awesome pics of the Atlantis along with your typical Dubai skyline photos… which i love!
8) City Walk
You may have seen many Dubai themed graffiti shots on Instagram lately, and I am guilty of a few of these! These are not located in your ‘typical’ tourist spot, they can be found at City Walk. However if you have a free day I would definitely recommend a trip down here with shops, restaurants and endless Instagram opportunities!
Be sure to have a good look around, there are many hidden graffiti surprises!
9) The Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall itself has some great places to take photos, of course there is the infamous fountain show which takes place every evening or, Top Tip: get outside for 1pm-1:30pm when there is a bonus afternoon show! Great for rare day time shots!
As well as this, The Dubai Mall also plays host to the waterfalls with the diving men and a pretty walk way of umbrellas which can be found in the Village part of the mall.
I could literally go on forever but perhaps i’ll do an updated post later in the year! Of course there is always the standard hotel and beach sunset shots. These never get boring!
If you have any other tips please let me know! I’m always on the look out for new places to feature on my Instagram!
And let me know if you have any of these places on your page! ❤
